Don't Forget Robot Vacuum Deals: 10 Reasons Why You Don't Really Need It

Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

This is your chance to own a robot vacuum. CNET's top-rated models will be on sale for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, with discounts up to 57%.

The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping using app-based no-go zones, and its 180-minute runtime is awe-inspiring. It also self-empties itself and automatically refills its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ iRobot from iRobot.

The Roomba J7+, IRobot's most intelligent robot to date, is the Roomba J7+. Its biggest advancement is an obstacle detection system that uses built-in AI to detect objects like charging cords, shoes, and the dreaded pet waste the majority of other robots cannot avoid (and often slough through). It's also the first to automatically send you photos of the object it comes across so that you can tell it to stay clear of it in the future.

The Combo J7+ is the most efficient robot mop we've ever tested. It cleans up dirt and spills effortlessly, leaving no trace that it was there. The iRobot app makes it easy to control. You can schedule cleanings, and also create Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't clean in areas you don't want. It's also compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can start and stop it by speaking to it.

Its design is a step above the competition, with a sleek top piece that appears more like a toy rather than a loud, loud one. Clean Base Automatic Dirt disposal System also self-empties, which can cut down on cleaning time.

In our tests, the j7+ was quick to pick up and remove dust dirt, pet hair and even pet hair. The counter-rotating rubber brush roll kept the debris in one location rather than sending it scattering across the floor. It was able to capture small gravel, sand and even a little grit. Most robots can't achieve this feat. It did this without getting tangled in our pet's hair.

Although it's not as smart as the Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying Robot Vacuum and can't clean stairs The J7+ is an excellent option for those who need both mopping and a vacuum in their home. It's not too expensive, and the iRobot application makes it user-friendly.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use, however we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner applications. It can take a while to download updates and it's sometimes difficult to know if they are working until you actually see them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you are looking for a robot vacuum cleaner that can do more than simply clean your floors then a hybrid is the best option. This type of robot typically has a built-in water tank, meaning they can both vacuum and mop your home simultaneously. They also have a range of additional features, including smart mapping, small obstacles avoidance, and the ability to dry and wash mopping pads. They're costly at full retail but often come down in price on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Roborock makes some of our favorite robot vacuums and the Q5+ isn't an exception. This is their least expensive auto-empty model, and although it lacks some of the premium features found on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still a great option if you're willing sacrifice a bit to save hundreds of dollars.

The Q5+ is noticeably soft around obstacles like tables and walls, which makes it a good option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also very thorough in getting rid of dust bunnies which is an area where cheaper robot vacuums can really fall short. The technology used to navigate in the Q5+ is superb and has very few misses in corners and on walls.

The Q5+, as with other Roborock products, can be controlled by a few buttons on the device or via the Roborock App. Through the app, you can start and stop cleanings or schedules, establish virtual barriers and no-go zones, and modify your home map or change the labeling of rooms.

If you select the Q5+ it comes with a new auto emptying dock that is designed to make the robot easier to maintain. It requires a screwdriver install, but once it's installed, the process of emptying the bin is relatively simple. It has a large LCD screen, which is useful for setting up schedules or changing settings. This feature isn't required for everyone, but it can help effectively keep the robot's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot vacuum and mop that's impressively clever in its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design is among the top in the market however it's quite expensive.

It's a tiny base station that looks great and can be hidden when not in use. The main reason to buy the station is the fact that it automates a variety of tasks, chores and functions that other robots would leave to you. It can store dirty and clean water and electrolyze and heat the water. The majority of other robots require you to perform this.

And its vacuuming is impressive and efficient, too. It's the only robot vacuum I've tried that does a good job picking up dirt from floors that aren't. It's also not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.

The Freo X Ultra is not without faults, particularly when it comes to navigation. Its laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs, meaning it can get stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms of your home. It's not able to climb stairs as well as competitors, either and doesn't come with a dock that lets you to set up a dedicated cleaning zone for plush carpets.

Although it doesn't have as many in terms of cleaning options available in its app, or as many in-app shortcuts like other robovacs the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for anyone looking for an all-around great mop and robot vacuum that's worth the higher price price.

But if you want to save some cash, or just don't care about the limitations of this machine there are many other options available with a wide range of eufy models for considerably less. The eufy Qrevo curv, for example is a bit more expensive however it comes with more features, including stair climbing and a full-function Dock, that provides an improved overall experience when vacuuming on bare floors carpets, low-pile carpets, and even high-pile carpets.

4. Eufy RoboVac G30

eufy, an Anker company has a proven track record of making robot vacuums that strike the perfect balance between performance, features and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning on hard and carpeted floors, as well as mopping capabilities for a low cost. It's simple to set up by snapping one of the side brushes on, turn on and plug in the charging dock. The app walks you through a few steps to connect it to Wi-Fi. After that, the G30 is ready to go. The dock must be located near an outlet and have plenty of room to move.

The G30 is small, 2.85 inches tall to be precise and will fit under many couches and other low-clearance furniture. The design is more modest than other models, and features sleek black finishes and three physical buttons: Auto Cleaning start/pause, Recharge and Spot Cleaning (which scrubs a space in spiral patterns for 2 minutes). It is also possible to connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to do unscheduled cleaning with voice commands.

The primary characteristic that distinguishes the G30 above the rest is the way it cleans. It makes use of an integrated map to draw an image of the unmovable objects in its path.  vacuum deals  keeps track of what it has already cleaned and what it is unable to access. It will return to the base to recharge, and then begins cleaning the area it left.

The elegant G30 isn't without faults however. The iRobot Roomba 675 is better built, incurs lower recurring costs, charges more quickly and has the same battery life while offering better performance on bare floors and low-pile carpet. It also has a bigger dust bin that doesn't need to be emptied as frequently and comes with an array of boundary strips to keep it away from certain areas. The G30 is, however is more affordable and much easier to maintain. Its smaller container means it doesn't need to be empty as often and it's less trouble with bulky materials like cereal.
